ASRT National Radiologic Technology Week (NRTW)

National Radiologic Technology Week® is an annual event that honors the essential contributions of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals to patient care and health care safety.

This weeklong celebration occurs during the week of Nov. 8 to mark the anniversary of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen's discovery of the x-ray on Nov. 8, 1895.

NRTW® 2025 will be celebrated from Nov. 2-8. This year's theme is “The Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology.” The theme links the multitude of medical imaging and radiation therapy practice areas and medical procedures into a single vision and celebration. Be sure to check out the new poster!

Poster Gallery

Each year, National Radiologic Technology Week^® is celebrated with a poster chosen to represent that year’s NRTW^® theme. State affiliates used to submit NRTW^® poster art to the ASRT annual conference as part of a contest until 1988 when professional artists began to design the posters.
