A Message from the ASRT President: ASRT President Stephanie Johnston, M.S.R.S., R.T.(R)(M)(BD)(BS), FASRT, would like to thank you for your commitment and dedication during these difficult times.
On behalf of ASRT and your elected Board of Directors, I want to say thank you. We are so proud of our members and the way in which you continue to demonstrate compassion, resilience and resourcefulness in these challenging and unprecedented times.
Our hearts go out to all our members, their families, communities and patients affected by this global event. As the pandemic evolves, anxious feelings about the health of friends and family will be just one of the individual concerns we will all face.
During this difficult period, finding a sense of community and feeling connected and supported is incredibly important. Please remember the ASRT is always here for you. While our physical office is closed for at least the next 30 days, our staff is working for you virtually to continue offering the level of service and support you have come to expect.
As a demonstration of our support, we are providing you with “Infection Control in Radiology,” a complimentary continuing education module that highlights infection control best practices for health care workers and patients. To access the module, log in to your ASRT account and click the LAUNCH button on the right.
If you have questions about your membership or need workplace advice and support, do not hesitate to get in touch. You may continue to contact the ASRT Member Services Team by email at [email protected] or online chat by clicking the headset on the bottom right side of the ASRT website. If you leave a voicemail, we will get back to you via email. Team members are ready to help.
You can also join the conversation and share your experiences on the ASRT Communities and our many social media channels:
As always, your safety and well-being, and that of the patients we care for, remains the fundamental priority for ASRT. Thank you again for your dedication to our profession.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Johnston, M.S.R.S., R.T.(R)(M)(BD)(BS), FASRT
