Charges
Committee members read, evaluate and score applications for multiple ASRT Foundation programs according to established criteria. Members also may be asked to assist with assessment mechanisms and provide feedback on the applications, review and judging processes. At this time, committee members are responsible for reviewing applications for the following programs: International Speakers Exchange Award, Marilyn Sackett Leadership Scholarship, Fellow Scholarship/Grant and ARRT Professional Education and Growth Grant.
Corporate programs may change annually and will be updated accordingly.
Duties
- Read, evaluate and score applications according to the established criteria of each program.
- Provide input about the application and assessment tools to the committee chair or staff on request.
Time Commitment
Committee members should expect to spend approximately 50 hours per year reviewing applications and contributing to other committee tasks. Committee meetings average approximately two hours per year.
Travel Commitment
There is no travel required to serve on the International Speakers and Corporate Sponsored Programs Review Committee.
Skills
It is preferred that committee members have prior national or international meeting presentation experience.
Criteria
- Must hold active or retired ASRT membership status.
